Las familias m{s representadas fueron Ulvaceae, Cladophoraceae, Caulerpaceae, Halimedaceae y Udoteaceae. Las especies del género Halimeda (H. copiosa, H. discoidea, H. goreaui y H. tuna) fueron más comunes en las muestras de los biotopos de arrecifes coralinos.
ABSTRACT
An illustrated list of benthic Chlorophyta from the adjacent littoral to the Cienfuegos Bay, Cuba, is presented for the first time, where is found the coral reefs biotopes from the Cienfuegos province, Cuba. This flora included 50 taxa, 35 of these are new records for the central-southern region of Cuba. The families Ulvaceae, Cladophoraceae, Caulerpaceae, Halimedaceae and Udoteaceae were the most represented. The species of Halimeda genus (H copiosa, H. discoidea, H. goreaui and H. tuna) were most common in the samplings from coral reefs biotopes. |
