Summary:The main goal of the article is analysis of existing models of social responsibility of entrepreneurship (American, European, British and Asian) with consideration of regional specific features of its application. The article uses methods of abstraction and synthesis along with historical and practical approaches. In the conclusions the article generalises prospects for further search for the most optimal variants of development of this concept under conditions of development of the modern society. It also provides principal differences and main forms of realisation of social responsibility in such countries as USA, France, Germany, China and Japan. Social consequence of the article is re-consideration of the role of entrepreneurship as an important component of effective development of the society and observance of the concept of sustainable development as strategically important in the scale of the world. Value of the article is a proof of urgency of consideration of the issue of the socio-economic responsibility of entrepreneurship under conditions of modern global challenges and a necessity of their effective solution both from the side of the state and business.
