Summary:The investigation was carried out in San Andrés' valley, with the objective of evaluating the uses of the dispersed trees in the properties of thefarmers.For this stratified sampling was used, it is achieving that none of the areas left out of the study areaAs a result of this sampling it rose a total of 50 parcels in a general way, 15 in Canalete ,10 inCeja del Río, 15 Puesto Escondido, 10 in The Ciguanea, embracing this way San Andrés' valley.To obtain information on the different uses of species by farmers, interviews and surveys were conducted. A total of 14 families were recognized, 15 species with a total of 359 individuals. The most common uses by farmers were as animal, human and building food.
