To this end, Lung Cancer Specialty Committee of Chinese Elderly Health Care Association organized a national team of thoracic medical and nursing experts, based on the latest research progress and the best clinical evidence at home and abroad, took the lead in preparing Consensus of Chinese experts on nursing of lung cancer in the elderly (2022 edition). Based on evidence-based medicine (EBM) and problem-oriented medicine, the author searched the relevant literatures at home and abroad and combined with the clinical situation in our country, aimed at the different treatment methods of the aged patients with lung cancer, to further standardize the application of assessment tools, guide the implementation of clinical symptoms observation and nursing measures, pay attention to the prevention of various high-risk factors of elderly patients, to multidisciplinary cooperation as a model, holistic nursing as the connotation, develop this consensus. In order to make the treatment and nursing practice of senile lung cancer patients more standardized, more targeted, so as to reduce the occurrence of complications, and also provide references and guidances for related clinical research.
