Of eight Saltator similis, four (50%) were positive for coccídios and two (25%) for coccidia and Giardia. The Nymphicus hollandicus presented coccidia and Giardia and both Serinus canaria and Passerinabrissonii were negative. Of the 25 examined animals the physical alterations were: six birds with big nails (24%), three animals with skin descamation (12%), two fat birds (8%), one thin bird (4%), one animal with diarrhea (4%) and an animal presented cough signals and sneeze (4%).
