description This paper incorporates historiography into a more general model of scientific activity. It namely presents how different bodies of knowledge are clustered together in Thảo’s work, distinguishing between framing principles (such as dialectic and recapitulation), explicative modules (e.g. the prototypist postulate) and local statements (such as the lexical decumulation thesis). These different levels, which bring together fictions and observable data, do not rely on a tree-logic organization but rather on a principle of mutual strengthening.
