| Summary: | The article examines some scientific works and articles in the media of academician NAS of Ukraine V.K. Mamutov and their influence on lawmaking activity and social and scientific discussion regarding the place of economic law as an independent science in the system of legal sciences of Ukraine. An important role of V.K. Mamutov in the formation and strengthening of the school of Economic Law in the territory of Ukraine, in the work on the codification of economic legislation, the theoretical and practical support of this process. Some examples of planning and management traditions in Ukraine are also presented. Those topics, which concerned Academician V.K. Mamutov in his works defending the developed and constantly improved economic and legal approach to the legal provision of regulation of the economy and its individual branches. The concept of "contribution to science" is considered in the appendix to V.K. Mamutov’s creative path. It is noted that the V.K. Mamutov’s work do not lose relevance in connection with the opposition to the initiatives of decodification of economic legislation, arising with some periodicity, and arguments (as well as counterarguments), cited in this case. It is emphasized the importance of discussion on this issue on the pages of scientific journals. At the same time, the importance of the presentation by scientists of their positions and scientific achievements in the media is emphasized with the aim of attracting public interest in legal science and the processes taking place in it, as these processes influence the legislative work and the formation of Ukraine’s legal system. It defends the inadmissibility of further destruction of academic legal science, emphasizes its important role in the formation and development of scientific schools in Ukraine. |
