| Summary: | The concept of intertextuality refers to the idea that every text has been influenced by previous texts and has taken on its own identity as a result of the changes and evolutions of previous texts. Consequently, every text is the culmination of the thoughts contained in the texts that preceded it. The term intrinsic intertextuality is one of the different types of intertextuality. Manifested as a textual resemblance in another text but not as a repetition, intrinsic intertextuality is the textual relation between a work and other works by the same author or poet. In his Arabic poetry, Sa'adi, the master of speech, has used some contents and concepts that have also appeared in his Persian poetry. Sa'adi's Arabic and Persian poems have been examined from the perspective of intrinsic intertextuality, content analysis, and aesthetics in this study. Furthermore, this study revealed content similarities, as well as the lexical and spiritual delicacy of Sa'adi's words. Despite the fact that Sa'adi repeats themes, he has never repeated himself. By using literary and rhetorical techniques and arrays, he has covered his speech in a new way each time and managed to capture the audience's attention. Sa'adi's speech, with its intrinsic intertextuality, is not only devoid of repetition, but also creates new and striking images in his audience, and this is what makes him unique. |
