Description
Summary:Léon van Montenaeken is the name of a Spanish-Belgian poet not warned to date in the history of literature in French language. Although born in Antwerp, he lived in Seville since his childhood. He is the author of a single book of poetry, entitled Rimes futiles (1879), but he collaborated in important magazines like La Jeune Belgique and deserved to be included in the anthology Parnasse de la Jeune Belgique (1889). This essay provides unpublished information that allows to know the biography and work of this author.
