| description | This paper explores the influence of the Russian Federation in three states of the Baltic region in the context of disinformation campaigns. These campaigns are one of the means used to regain the influence lost after the collapse of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. The main part of the paper is devoted to discussing the fight against disinformation campaigns conducted by the Russian Federation in individual states. It addresses this from the point of view of the local population, whose opinions were obtained in field research conducted over the last two years (i.e., 2018 to 2020). Also subjected to analysis are the views of corresponding national and supranational authorities. |
