description The objective of the research was to select various ayurvedic marketed formulations and performed standardization of ayurvedic formulations as per Ayurvedic Pharmacopeia of India. Present work was aimed to perform the quality assessment and marker profiling for the rapid estimation of quercetin in ayurvedic formulation by HPTLC method as well as extraction, fractionation and phytochemical screening of formulations for the identification of the quality of raw material. The research was focused on standardization and fingerprinting profiling of selected crude drugs. Finally, the identification of the marker compound was done by the HPTLC technique and the rapid confirmation of Quercetin in ayurvedic formulations by using the mobile phase of toluene: ethyl acetate: formic acid (4.3:4.6:1.1 v/v/v) and Rf values of quercetin was found 0.49±0.02 which is equal to that of standard Rf of quercetin, and it will help the industries as well as for researchers.
