Description
Summary:This research article correlates the score of the state secondary education exam, Saber 11°, of rural students from Medellín (Colombia), and variables such as gender, economic situation, computer ownership, Internet at home and educational level of the parents. In order to formulate a proposal, student records from 13 educational institutions were analyzed. Quantitative analysis of secondary data was used as a research method, with the support of a registration form as an instrument. It was found that the variables are associated with the score on the Saber 11 test. The need to adapt the rural educational model of Medellín is concluded based on lines of action that consider these variables.
