Summary:Microstructure, phase composition and nanostructure of NdPrGdDyTbFeCoBAl permanent magnets were investigation by optical, electron and scanning probe microscopy. The parameters of the microstructure and of the magnetic domain structure and elemental composition of the phases of the permanent magnets type R2M14B ( R=Nd, Pr, Gd, Dy, Tb; M=Fe, Co, Al ) were determined. The correlation between the hysteresis characteristics and micro- and nanostructure of the magnets was defined.
