Summary:<p>The goal of this research is to review the logical-based lecture order and to recognize its impact on students’ academic characters development in terms of thouroghness of thinking, critical attitude, and responsibility. The method used in this study was research and development. Data was collected trough observation, interview, and measurement (test). Sample of the research was first semester students of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of University of Siliwangi Tasikmalaya. The data were processed quantitatively and qualitatively. The result showed that students studied harder with creativity. In addition, they also were motivated and enthusiastic with the lesson. The measurement score before the treatment of logical-based training was 22,7 and after the treatment was 74,3 that indicated that the academic character in terms of thouroghness of thinking, critical attitude, and responsibility was good. Thus, syntax of lecturing based on the logical model has a positive impact on students’ academic characters.</p><p> </p><p><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p><p><strong><br /></strong></p><p>Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji urutan perkuliahan berbasis logika dan mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap tumbuhnya karakter akademik mahasiswa dalam hal ketelitian berpikir, sikap kritis, dan tanggung jawab. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan pengukuran (tes). Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan pada mahasiswa semester pertama di FKIP, Universitas Siliwangi Tasikmalaya. Data diolah secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan sebagian besar mahasiswa bersungguh sungguh dalam belajar dan disertai kreativitas. Selain itu, mahasiswa juga termotivasi dan tidak merasakan kejenuhan. Dari pengukuran diperoleh skor rata-rata karakter akademik sebelum diberi perlakuan yaitu 22,7 dengan kategori rendah. Setelah diberi perlakuan diperoleh rata-rata skor 74,3 dengan kategori baik. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa urutan model perkuliahan berbasis logika berpengaruh positif terhadap tumbuhnya karakter akademik mahasiswa dalam hal ketelitian berpikir, sikap kritis, dan tanggung jawab.</p><p><strong><br /></strong></p>
