Description
Summary:Aiming to the problem of data mining processes building, we present a hierarchical data mining process ontology. The ontology is constructed based on CRISP-DM framework. Four layers of data mining process are described to solve the complexity of process synthesis. The ontology supports the management of DM processes, which assumes defining steps of the processes and selecting algorithms taking into account the input and the output data. An example of querying on the proposed ontology is presented.
