The study was aimed at clarifying a number of issues related to the relationship and interaction character between bearers of different cultural traditions. The characteristic distinctive features of the Kama and Volga-Kama cultures ware have been defined, the specificity of these cultures at different stages of development has been traced/ The absolute dating of all periods of each culture has been checked, their synchrony at certain stages being proved.
