At coastal land, beside the advantage of reserve water, the subsurface dam also helps to present infiltration of salt water. This article discusses about subsurface dam, solutions to build the subsurface dam and its application scale, advantages and disadvantages of applying subsurface dams in Vietnam. Moreover, the author proposes solutions for water supply to areas which are shortage of water in Ninh Thuan province, Vietnam. |
