Description
Summary:During the Santa Estèla celebrations of 1950, Boudou sat in the presentation of a report on the teaching of the Occitan language at primary school by Mouly. On June 4th, he wrote a letter to the Majoral Mouly followed by an Ensaj de unificacion grafica. This letter and this study, both unpublished, enable us to understand the position that was that of the author of La Santa Estèla del Centenari in the orthographic debate around 1950. It therefore seemed useful to us to publish these documents which show a step in Boudou's orthographic itinerary, but which also explain, we think, some aspects of his personality and his literary posture. The edition of the letter and that of the Ensaj are followed by a glossary.
