Description
Summary:The survey used to produce this atlas comprises 359 questions. On the basis of the data collected, this paper proposes an attempt at an overall statistical interpretation which makes two assumptions about dialectal deterioration. Firstly, and quite logically, there is a lack of vocabulary, expressed by the absence of positive responses to the interviewer’s questions. Secondly, by the evolution of this same vocabulary under the effect of a monopolisation by terms conveyed by the dominant language.
