The phylogenetic analysis based on 13 PCGs of five grosbeaks and other Fringillidae birds demonstrated that Mycerobas, Coccothraustes, and Eophona had close phylogenetic relationships for clustering as three sister branches, and supported that Eophona originated earlier in phylogeny. |
