This also requires and involves a deployed view with which the artist has built some critical ways of memory. In this article, I examine the different interventions that the artist made over the established ways of use and different kinds of documental photography. My aim is to recognize that through El cuchillo, the artist shows two perceptual regimes that are in dispute. These regimes are two different ways of understanding History. |
