| Summary: | This article reviews the progress of peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) tip positioning under ultrasonic localization, including one-time arrival rate of PICC tip, misplacement of PICC lines, catheter-related complication etc. The ultrasonic localization shows the advantages of accuracy, real-time, and simple operation. Especially, the catheter location tracking during the use of premature infants ensures safe, effective, and timely intravenous infusion.
