Summary: | Photography is credited as a means to capture moments and to caress memory: in its essence, it is a fragment of reality embalmed in time. On the other hand, photographic reality seen as reality of the death, caresses life by remembering it of its losses. In this article, photography is thought of – in its time-space clips – as an object of rupture with daily reality. The aim is also to present the “death theater” of Polish stage director Tadeusz Kantor and reflect on the nature of this theater and photographic language.
