description A method for calculation of electromagnetic parameters of single vertical grounding electrode of finite length has been developed. The results of mathematical simulation of electromagnetic parameters of the stated grounding electrodes are presented in the paper. The paper proposes approximate analytical expressions for calculation of grounding electrode resistances and voltages considering electromagnetic field attenuation in ground and electrode. These expressions are acceptable for application.
