Summary:Under western view, modernity is synonymous with positive qualities or attributions, seen as the milestone of the techno-scientific revolution and the idea of the human being as a rational agent. However, all knowledge produced in this temporal space ignores the knowledge from the periphery (or colonies), exalting only those produced by Eurocentric thinking. In the light of the above, the objective of this essay is to demonstrate that transdisciplinarity can become an alternative for the dialogue of knowledge, in which knowledge produced in various realities would dialogue.
