Description
Summary:This article begins by presenting some theories concerning the narrative structure concealed in tales, myths and rituals, as stated by some outstanding theorists as Greimas, Jung or Levi-Strauss. Once its confluences examined, it becomes possible to detect the existence of recurrent formulae within the deep semantic structure, thus revealing a scheme which may be generalized. This sort of study – namely narratology – along with its application in the domain of musical genres and works, constitutes the nucleus of the current investigative work of Marta Grabocz, who has kindly permitted as to publish this article, which is part of her book Musique, Narrativité, Signification, before its forthcoming release in France.
