description | The objective of this paper is to study smart home network systems and the application of LabVIEW to develop a human machine interface (HMI), so that traditional instrument panels can be replaced with virtual panels to reduce the consumption of hardware resources. For energy efficiency, MATLAB’s fuzzy toolbox is used as the computing center, which is applied to the lighting system and air-conditioning system. This paper also uses LabVIEW’s common gateway interface (CGI) tools to develop remote monitoring functions, as well as to embed the network-related syntax into the web pages. The user can not only use computer equipment, but can also use their mobile devices to connect to the networks and conduct remote monitoring, which enhances convenience and security. This paper is finally tested with actual cases, and the electricity consumption with and without fuzzy logic control is compared. The test results show that fuzzy logic control can reduce electricity consumption. As well as using computers to test the remote monitoring functions, cell phones and pads were used. |
