Summary:The number of people over sixty years old is rising worldwide. However, little is discussed about fashion and garments for the senior population, often stereotyped by old-fashioned social stigmas. Thus, this study presents a collection of fashion products specially developed for this audience, based on the concept of participatory design adapted to the process of accepting trends and to the garment design. The process reveals that elderly people are, indeed, open to new experiences and willing to learn about new products.
