The order and structure of the genes are similar to other Muscidae species. The mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) is composed of 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 22 transfer RNA genes (tRNA), two ribosomal RNA genes (rRNA), and a non-coding AT-rich region. Most PCGs used the canonical putative codon to start and stop. |
