Summary:This text intends to divulge a research held in the west of Paran, which the main purpose was to point out a singular trajectory of a successful teacher her training was learned along more than four decades working with education, 1960 - 2006. This literacy trainer starts her trajectory as a lay teacher, in homeschools, and then, in isolated and community schools, teaching different grade levels in the same class in the rural area of west paran, and lastly in school groups. Reporting the history of a teacher professional development helps us to understand the singularity of this training and brings relevant elements for better understanding the teacher training system. The singularity and peculiarities of a professional development process of becoming a competent teacher, who serves the working-class, helps us to understand the totality. It is necessary to understand these processes, even if they are small, daily and silent, in order to identify creative or resistant practices, and it is also necessary to understand how these practices reinterpret and reconduct the dynamics of transformation
