description Scrub Typhus that is caused by Orienta tsutsugamushi is a zoonotic disease found commonly in north east zone of India. Neurological consequences are though very rare can occur in this illness. Here we present a case of 25 years old female with a history of tsutsugamushi fever developing organic manic disorder as a consequence of the illness.
