Directed by Beatriz Sarlo, the magazine remained autonomous from both the academic and the political spheres. The present article attempts to establish a periodization of the magazine taking into account the changes in the Argentine cultural context and the vicissitudes of the intellectual coteries that participated in it. Secondly, the article traces, through a close reading of the magazine’s editorials, the conception of the intellectual, from which Punto de Vista intervened in cultural, political and intellectual debates in Argentina. |
