In other words, the interest of the criminal law is to impose on all citizens the obligation to respect the life of each individual, to respect the human desire to live. Seen as an attempt on the person’s life, the act of determining or facilitating suicide could not remain outside the incrimination in the Criminal Code as a crime. The present paper is a study of this incrimination from the perspective of the defense of the right to life. |
