Summary: | Production has always been one of the main ways to increase economic efficiency at the territorial level. The problems of low production in many remote areas are associated with an underdeveloped infrastructure and a lack of sufficient human resources. In such conditions, the relevance of the search for labor for the development of production and productivity growth increases. Russia's policy is aimed at increasing migration flows, which increases social tension in society and leads to many negative consequences. This article discusses the possibility of developing production in remote enterprises through the use of migrant labor. From the author’s point of view, such a policy will reduce the negative factors from uncontrolled migration flows and give an impetus to the development of regions and the business sector in areas with a low population.
