Adsorption of Phosphorus in Oxisols Dystrophic under Cerrado Vegetation in Rio Verde-Go

Oxisols are deficient soils P and have a great capacity to retain phosphorus. To determine the maximum adsorption capacity of P (CMAP) weighed 0.5 g sample of TFSA withdrawals of 0-20 cm and 20-40 cm in an Oxisol. Was added to each sample 30 ml of KH2PO4 solution at concentrations of 0, 10, 20, 40,...

description Oxisols are deficient soils P and have a great capacity to retain phosphorus. To determine the maximum adsorption capacity of P (CMAP) weighed 0.5 g sample of TFSA withdrawals of 0-20 cm and 20-40 cm in an Oxisol. Was added to each sample 30 ml of KH2PO4 solution at concentrations of 0, 10, 20, 40, 80, 100 and 200 µg mL-1, prepared in 0.01M CaCl2. The Phosphorus in equilibrium after adsorption by soil was obtained by standard curve obtained with 0, 10, 20, 40, 80, 100, 200 and 300 µg mL-1 KH2PO4 solution read on a spectrophotometer at wavelength 660 hm. The results showed that in the 0-20 cm layer, the MAPC was 3610.11 µg g soil-1 and the layer with a value of 20-40 was 5.555,56 µg g soil-1. Keywords: Tropical Soils; CMAP; Deficiency.
