Summary: | In this work we evaluated for six months 38 amateur marathons who underwent a macrocycle training, we will analyze their mood with the questionnaire POMS subscale fatigue and hormone response cortisol and blood lactate, results Emphasize a sensitivity of these two fatigue and cortisol indicators to the variations of the training load for the fourth and fifth month and their consistency as indicators of the overall impact of the training. As a conclusion, it can be stated that the POMS subscale administered once a month during a training mesocycle could be a useful indicator to monitor fatigue states prior to the overtraining syndrome, not only in elite athletes but also in athletes Amateur as verified in this study.
