description The article carries out a theoretical analysis of modern researches related to the professional training of specialists in the economic field with the aim of identifying gaps in the research field of the identified problem – professional training of specialists in the circular economy. On the basis of the results of the theoretical analysis of scientific studies of the training of economists in Ukraine, we will summarize the problems of these works. The problem can be divided into 4 blocks of topics, each of which has its own subtopics: Formation of professional competencies of future economists – 1) formation of abilities and skills; 2) formation of professional competences by various means. Organizational and methodical (pedagogical) principles – 1) organizational and pedagogical principles; 2) didactic or pedagogical conditions; 3) theoretical and methodological aspects; 4) method of development of professional qualities. Training of future economists in Ukraine – 1) training of a certain category of economists; 2) preparation for a certain type of activity; 2) means of improving the quality of professional training; 3) use of ICT in the professional activities of economists; 5) distance learning. means of improving the quality of professional training. Foreign experience of training future economists – the Republic of Poland, Germany, Great Britain and the USA. It is shown that the foreign experience of training specialists in the economic field in the context of modern requirements of the global economic space and the emergence of new economic specialties is not studied enough. This applies, in particular, to the professional training of specialists in the circular economy, who should play an important role in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
