description | An equal scale test was conducted for the bottom curtain construction method of curved pipe jacking of “Yangtze River Estuary II”, which included lowering the end plate and advancing the pipe joint. The test results show that the curved pipe jacking bottom curtain method is suitable for the integral salvage of sunken ships. The method of using a stirring pump to remove iron plate sand on the end plate is inefficient, which should be replaced with a more efficient method in the future. The maximum thrust for propulsion in the three pipe joints is 2.2 MN, and the maximum torque is 28 kN·m. |
