| Summary: | <p class="Resumen">This research article values Professor Hebert Pérez Concepción`s work on the intellectual creation of José Martí, contained in books and research papers published in specialized journals. The significant contribution of his work as professor and researcher at the Universidad de Oriente to the martianos studies starts from the examination of the main research lines: the analysis of the martiana conception on diverse historical matters and reality from the United States, the treatment to other topics related to the vast martiana creation on historic, economic, political, social and cultural topics and the critical exercise on the production in regards to El Maestro developed on prologues reviews and books presentation.</p>
