THE MORPHOMETRIC ASSESSMENT OF CHEMOTHERAPY EFFICACY IN PATIENTS WITH OSTEOGENIC SARCOMA

Postoperative materials of 31 patients with osteosarcoma after radical resection of bone segment were studied. The low efficacy of preoperative chemotherapy of osteogenous sarcoma was revealed in 58,1% that testifies to the need of retrieval of new combined and complex methods of treatment this path...

description Postoperative materials of 31 patients with osteosarcoma after radical resection of bone segment were studied. The low efficacy of preoperative chemotherapy of osteogenous sarcoma was revealed in 58,1% that testifies to the need of retrieval of new combined and complex methods of treatment this pathology. The histomorphometric results of tumor regress gave occasion to delivery of tactics of further postoperative treatment with or without chematherapeutic agents.
