| Summary: | This article represents a theoretical and practical research of the press activity from the point of view of the socialization function is exposed and analyzed, the main goals and roles through which this function is accomplished. The importance of the investigated topic comes up from the impact and the effects of the social journalism or even from the social journalism through the logical emphases which are set during the media process of the social reality, provides the creation of the links and the social network - a very necessary thing in a transition society. The concept exposed in this article provides the direction of all the investigations referring to the potential of the socialization of the press and reveals the specificity of the local journalism.
