| Summary: | With the essay Dramatic in the Work of Laza Kostić, the author is presenting and, at the same time explaining, the occurrence of drama and dramatic in the literary works of Laza Kostić (both poetry and prose), as well as his personal understanding of art in general. Laza Kostić wrote about all these in his work about philosophy and aesthetics. The objective of this essay is to highlight, for the first time, that Laza Kostić was an original innovator in arts, aesthetics, politics, as well as being a prominent critic and translator. The author is also presenting to her readers the highest level of Kostić's knowledge of drama theory and history, as well as popularity of his writing for theatre, his literature, music and art in general from the time when he was alive until today. |
