description Cultural studies are based upon mythical issues, for culture and myth are closely interrelated. The myth is best reflected in epic; in other words, mythical issues have been transformed into epic literature. Indeed, myth is a narrative dealing with gods while epic deals with heroic deeds. The heroes of epic are the mythical gods that were later transformed human beings.
