Performance was measured by whether or not they passed the partial or final exams of the first mathematics course that students take. A binary logistic regression model was adjusted, which properly classified 75% of the data. Among the most important variables for explaining academic performance is obtaining the high school diploma, the major chosen, and the educational level attained by the student’s mother.</span> |
