description There is a large portion of Gnosticism literature devoted to the concept of mystical love, the most important theme in Gnosticism and Sufism. Mystical love has many capacities that are overlooked, one of which is the positive emotion that is hidden within its mystical morals. Mystic morals, Sufi conduct and mystic journey offer many of these positive emotions. A positivist approach is used to analyze the psychological functions of mystical "love" found in Masnavi-ye-Ma’navi in order to confirm that these concepts and morals have profound psychological implications. As a result of the findings of this research, it appears that mystical "love" with its distinctive characteristics, such as the unity of love, lover, and beloved, can strengthen and develop the inner abilities of the traveler. Additionally, overcoming the difficulties associated with love can enhance a person's tolerance, thereby improving the traveler’s ability to approach God more effectively. Positive psychology considers "altruism and loving" to be one of the virtuous capacities of human beings at the lower stages of their development.
