description The paper: - scientifically substantiates that the global economy, which at the current stage of its development demonstrates aggressive expansionism, the elimination of the economic basis of progress, shows signs of an upcoming phase transition that is able to reformat the world economic system; gives a definition of a sustainable economy, the long-term growth of which is ensured by the conditions for maintaining its competitiveness, which are minimally dependent and determined by the dynamics of the conjuncture of foreign markets; proposes a methodology for assessing the economic stability of modern states economic based on the aggregation of economic sustainability predictors and stabilizers (in the spheres of traditional, human and natural capital); defines the concept of modernizing the principles of state economic regulation;
