Description
Summary:The effects of electric dehydration temperature and pressure, latex rising rate and electric field intensity on dehydration of hydrogenated styrene/isoprene copolymer (SEPS) latex were investigated. The results showed that the optimum conditions for the electric dehydration of SEPS latex were as follows: Operating temperature was 75-85 ℃, latex rising rate was 2 cm/min, and electric field intensity was 800-1 000 V/cm. The mass fraction of water in SEPS latex dehydrated by electric dehydration technology was less than 1.5%.
