He has published a number of influential books including 'Frontier' (1987, 1997), 'The Law of the Land' (1987, 1992), 'Why Weren’t We Told' (1999, 2000) and most recently 'An Indelible Stain' (2001) on the question of genocide in Australian history. 'Frontier' became the basis for an ABC television series. Professor Reynolds delivered the annual Fred Alexander Lecture in August 2001 at the University of Western Australia, organised by the History Department and the Institute of Advanced Studies. He spoke to Donna Oxenham.
