| Summary: | The article for the project of the forthcoming encyclopedia "Discursology" provides a discourse analysis of the concept of "fire" - a very widely worked out in the world culture and has a deep archetypal content. Polysemantic concept of "fire" is already seen in the myths of the peoples of the world. The result of the development of the concept is the allocation of the scientific concept of "fire", nevertheless preserving the features of its origin. All aspects of the discourse of this concept are analyzed: linguistic, semiotic, axiological, praxeological, institutional and cratological. It shows its powerful impact on almost all aspects of the material and spiritual culture of mankind throughout world history.
