Summary: | This paper, based on a research done in kibboutz, explores the way in which the aversion of the researcher in regards to his fieldwork could generate knowledge. It describes the evolution of relationships between the researcher and the population of the kibbutz. Once the researcher started questioning the sionist ideology, the links between the two deteriorated. This degradation of relations led the researcher to investigate the ideological and cultural context of kibbutz societies. |
